I went out for a walk early this morning and the weather was just perfect; warm sun, cool wind and clear blue skies… However, by the time it was noon it become extremely hot! It’s still mid May and we are experiencing such hot weather.. I wonder how hot its going to get in July and August..
Alot of this has to do with Global Warming and its effect on the globe. We’ve been experiencing hotter summers, warmer winters especially this past winter which was recorded as the warmest in many years and also the rise in sea level… I have been actually reading about this for a while now and was wondering of the impacts of the wireless technology on this issue..
Well today I came across a post on Antony’s Mobile Blog where he talked about the new anouncement by Nokia saying that they are the first mobile manufacturers to have added new energy saving alerts to mobile phones, below is from the press release:
-Nokia has launched the first mobile phones to include alerts encouraging people to unplug the charger once the battery is full, a move that could save enough electricity to power 85,000 homes a year. The alerts are one of a series of environmental initiatives that mobile manufacturers, led by Nokia, agreed to take action on this year.
Well thats one thing I found.. will keep posting on this when I get more information..
